Não é de todo novidade factos aberrantes como este (e outros) na relação igreja católica/dinheiro, mas quando se depara com veneno como este cuspido da boca de um bispo, qao ser inquirido sobre o facto da igreja receber dinheiro proveniente do tráfico de droga, era francamente oportuno uma espécie de Juan Carlos aparecer e dizer:"porque no te callas?" É LAMENTÁVEL!
Esta foi a resposta dada pelo bispo Rámón Godinez numa entrevista à CNN:
-"If they have money, they have to spend it; I don't know why such a scandal has been made of this.
Let me explain: We live on this, on the offerings of the faithful. And we do not investigate where they acquired the money.
... donations linked to drug trafficking are not out of the ordinary and that it's not the church's responsibility to investigate their origin."
